A new team member is always a cause for celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It means that your startup is growing and that the family is getting bigger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What better way to welcome someone into the company than by greeting them publicly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not only does the entire team get to engage with the new teammate on LinkedIn, but it also makes the newbie feel welcome and appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As an added bonus, it also tells people a lot about the company culture that you’ve established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s how you do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click on “Start a post” on your feed, which will bring up a popup window with buttons underneath, click on “Celebrate an occasion”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Navigate to a “Welcome to the Team” post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They make people feel like they’re appreciated and you give them the recognition that they deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It establishes a friendly work culture and underlines the values of teamwork in an organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LinkedIn has a prebuilt template that you can use to show appreciation for people who have done a good job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All you have to do is go back to your post options for “Celebrate an occasion” and click on “Give Kudos”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Launch<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
We’ve always advocated being active on LinkedIn and one way to show your prospects, connections and followers that your company is growing is by updating them about new projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The template for a new project post follows can also be found under “Celebrate an occasion” and you have the option to add a photo of the project or use a template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work anniversaries are not exactly our go-to posts, but make sure you encourage them in your organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The reason they’re great is that they’re a sign to other prospective applicants that people like working with the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They also show up on a lot of people’s feeds helping the organization build brand awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can switch it up a notch by getting your creative team to come up with a cool graphic that celebrants can use and getting managers to do “Give kudos” posts for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This makes it a fun experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Position<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
If you just recently got yourself a new job or a role, tell people on LinkedIn about it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s a good signal to the new company that you’re working for that you’re excited to work with them. This helps ease your passage and onboarding pains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Plus, this is great if you have connections from the same industry, it tells them you’re part of the club now and it makes reaching out to them easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re in a rush, LinkedIn will populate the description of the services that you’re looking for. This makes it easier if you’re looking for someone to help out the organization in a pinch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s a use case scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Say you’re looking to collaborate with other people in the hopes of bringing them into your pipeline for services. This is a good way to get some people on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What we like the most about this is the fact that it sub-categorizes the services that you might be looking for. It looks as if LinkedIn will try to get your post in front of people who specialize in that category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is much better than putting out a general call for crowdsourcing on other platforms such as Facebook or on your LinkedIn newsfeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add a profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Linked posts have a feature for you to tag people and highlight them on your post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is useful if you want to promote someone on your team or talk about someone else’s achievements or services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s different from “Give kudos” because it doesn’t just focus on complimenting someone, but rather promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The “Add a profile” option is fairly basic to use, it allows you to search for your connections and then make a note about them<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Share that you’re hiring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
LinkedIn has probably the world’s biggest database on job seekers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the reason why most HR managers and growth hackers rely on the platform to onboard new talent into their organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are different techniques to team hunting on the LinkedIn platform and one of the most basic options is to post that you’re hiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’ve got a LinkedIn post template just for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click on “Share that you’re hiring” and fill out the necessary details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the location, the platform will allow for a “remote” option if you’re looking for a freelancer to fill up a vacancy that you have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is useful for people to glean quick information about your company right off the bat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
