Don\u2019t fall into this trap, use a content scheduler if you have to, there are plenty out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-the-best-time-to-post-on-linkedin\">The Best Time to Post on LinkedIn<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>So, after considering the timezones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s time to check the actual post times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/x.bamf.com\/UGgrU9aD\">SproutSocial<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/SproutSocial-LinkedIn-Engagement.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35279\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you really wanted to maximize your engagements, the best time to post on LinkedIn would be anywhere between 8 am to 3 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, based on research the maximum number of engagements that you can get is on Wednesdays from 9-10 am, and the lunch hour at noon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s what.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When in doubt, post a little bit before your prospects head out for lunch or the mid-mornings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is after you take into consideration the time zones of your prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2-the-best-day-to-post-on-linkedin\">The Best Day to Post on LinkedIn<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the internal data that we have and gathered from several of our partners, here is the ranking of the best days to post on LinkedIn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Wednesday<\/li><li>Tuesday<\/li><li>Thursday &#8211; Friday<\/li><li>Monday<\/li><li>Weekends<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s surprising to see that Mondays just rank fourth, and that&#8217;s because people are usually preoccupied during the first day of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the heat map in the previous section, there&#8217;s a spike in engagements only towards lunch breaks as compared to Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-why-wednesday\">Why Wednesday?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesday marks the middle of the week and it&#8217;s also the day that we&#8217;ve found that most people are engaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The middle of the week signifies the peak of pressure to get deliverables done before EOW Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, here&#8217;s what.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s also a time where people want to relieve themselves of that pressure and decide to browse LinkedIn for that relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the reason we see a spike in activity on Monday that mellows down on Tuesday but then picks up again on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thursdays and Fridays are less hectic \u2013 in some industries \u2013 so people tend to spread their tasks more evenly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"4-how-about-the-weekends\">How About the Weekends?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>LinkedIn is a professional social networking platform by design so it won&#8217;t be receiving a lot of engagement during the weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People tend to gravitate towards more casual social platforms like Facebook, during these times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unless, it&#8217;s a personal post or something that necessitates urgency \u2013 and even then \u2013 we strongly advise that you wait until Monday to achieve maximum engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re itching to post for engagement, it&#8217;s advised that you switch to a different platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This also applies to prospecting, outreach, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve got a list of the <a href=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/b2b-linkedin-outreach-templates\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">best outreach templates<\/a> that you can use today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"5-how-often-should-you-be-posting-on-linkedin\">How Often Should You Be Posting on LinkedIn?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At BAMF, I encourage everyone to be active on LinkedIn, but this doesn\u2019t mean that you should be consistently posting on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You know that relative who\u2019s always posting stuff on Facebook?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t want to be that person on the largest professional social media platform in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I find that it\u2019s best to post three times a week, with an occasional post in the weekend for prospects that happen to check out their accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why three?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simple really.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Say you\u2019re running an outreach campaign that\u2019s based on LinkedIn and you send them a message on Monday, you don\u2019t want to do a follow-up until the next week because it will be too pushy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By scheduling posts three times during that week, you\u2019ll be sure to reach them at least once without over saturating their news feeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3 seems to be the magic number on LinkedIn. Compared to more frequent rates on other mediums such as Twitter or Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You appear often enough to create brand recognition, but you don\u2019t oversaturate anyone\u2019s headspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, it takes about 24 hours for a post to go viral on LinkedIn, you can monitor your post and tweak it during this time while giving it enough time to blossom if it really is a share-worthy piece of content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re running an outreach campaign, it gives you enough leeway to get prospects to see your material a couple of times before you hit them up with a follow-up message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"6-its-not-the-frequency-its-the-type\">It&#8217;s Not the Frequency, It&#8217;s The Type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to up your posting frequency that&#8217;s perfectly alright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, you can&#8217;t limit it to just one type of post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Say you decide to post five times a week from Monday to Friday during the mid-morning, you can&#8217;t just post text-based types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s time to switch it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to make sure that you&#8217;re posting a variety of content so that your prospects won&#8217;t feel too <em>saturated<\/em> with your content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A good mix of lead magnets, personal posts, slides, pictures and video is always a good idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"7-when-shouldn%E2%80%99t-i-post\">When Shouldn\u2019t I Post<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>People who are new to the platform and growth hacking are always eager to be active, engage, and try out new things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, on LinkedIn, it\u2019s a whole different story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we\u2019ve mentioned earlier, LinkedIn is the largest professional social media platform in the world. The key for to look at is \u201cprofessional\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, most professionals &#8211; except growth hackers ? &#8211; want to take a break after \u201cprofessional working times.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re trying to engage with people past their 8 or 10-hour grinds, they\u2019re not going to be the most receptive to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you\u2019re looking at the best times to post or engage, don\u2019t do it after work or in the wee hours of the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only is it a waste of effort if they don\u2019t notice it, but it\u2019s can turn people off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, this is unless you\u2019re from a different timezone, but you can always use a tool to help facilitate conversations over different time zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stick to the limits we set here, then as you grow bigger and connect with other people, start experimenting and trying to bend the best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus, don&#8217;t post during the weekends, this isn&#8217;t the best time to post on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have to stay disciplined when it comes to posting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"8-using-linkedin-pods-also-requires-timing\">Using LinkedIn Pods Also Requires Timing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve covered LinkedIn pods in the past, and we all know that it\u2019s an effective way to generate buzz for the posts that you out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, here\u2019s something that you have to understand about pods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/lempod-3-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35280\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They involve people, and there will be times where the members of your pod are or less active than usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Try to figure the time zone that most of the pod members are in.
