Word Frame<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The easiest picture frame to make is a word frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are picture frames that have a phrase bordering a profile photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use a free photo-editing application like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Canva<\/a> to do this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, you want to log into Canva and create a custom canvas. At the bare minimum, it should be 400 x 400 pixels, a perfect square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>The more pixels you add the more details you can work with and you can play with better resolutions, however, pixel height and pixel width must match.<\/p><p>Most social media platforms, including LinkedIn, display your profile photo in a cropped circle, so by using a square it&#8217;s easier for you to crop into your picture frame when you upload later on.<\/p><p>Also, it helps with creating your design.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve created a blank canvas, upload a photo that you want to use as a LinkedIn profile photo, Canva lets you drag and drop straight into their web app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, click on &#8220;Text&#8221; in the left-hand menu pane and add some text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-16-1024x458.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37594\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;re done typing, click on the three dots on the upper right hand side, click on &#8220;Effects&#8221;, and then &#8220;Curve&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-17-1024x695.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37595\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you want to select the curved text, you&#8217;ll see a circle form that acts as your guide, you to want move this circular guide to the topmost part of your canvas, make sure it&#8217;s also in the center \u2013 you&#8217;ll know because Canva snaps to grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-18-1024x622.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37596\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Go back to the menu on the lefthand side and increase or decrease the slider until the circular guide fills up all four sides of the canvas. Make sure a side of the circle is touching, or close to touching, the sides of your square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-19-1024x636.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37597\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, that you&#8217;ve got the curve that you&#8217;re looking for, you can now adjust the size of your text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Move it closer to your image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-20-1024x835.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37598\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And, voila, you&#8217;re done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now add a little color if you want, a little symbol on the other side, or other graphical elements of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simply download your creation off of Canva and it&#8217;s time to upload it on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll see that once I&#8217;ve uploaded the photo, it will automatically crop straight into a circle and the entire word frame is in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-21-1024x788.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37599\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It takes less than 10 minutes to do and there are a lot of variations that you can try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"4-method-2-full-frame-\"><strong>Method 2 &#8211; Full Frame<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to add a full-frame, you follow the same steps as above and start with a blank canvas that&#8217;s perfectly square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, you want to search for &#8220;Shapes&#8221; in the &#8220;Elements&#8221; menu on the right-hand side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideally, you want to pick any shape that&#8217;s circular in nature or one that can fit neatly into a circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-1-1024x715.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37576\"\/><figcaption>(Yes, that orange icosagon \u2013 20-sided badge-looking shape on top of the circle \u2013 can do, too.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the circle on the far corner of the canvas, and drag it all the way to the other end. In this example, we put it on the upper left-hand corner and dragged it all the way to the lower right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-2-1024x968.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37577\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The circle should fill the entire square canvas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-3-1002x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37578\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, go back to &#8220;Elements&#8221; on the right-hand menu and type in &#8220;frame&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This should give you a list of frames that you can use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again, pick any shape that can fit nicely into a circle. In this case, we chose an actual circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-4-1024x621.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37579\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Shrink the size of the frame until it fits inside the initial solid-colored circle. This &#8220;donut&#8221; will now form your frame, just adjust the size of the frame until you get your desired thickness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-5-868x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37580\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to the right-hand pane and click on text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just like Method 1, add some text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-6-1024x571.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37581\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the three dots on the upper right-hand side and then hit &#8220;Effects&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose &#8220;Curve&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Refer to the steps in Method 1 on how to adjust the curve to perfectly fit your square canvas.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-7-1024x662.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37582\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now fit the text into that wonderful donut that you previously created. Remember, to use the circle and the snap to grid feature as a guide to make sure everything is nice and aligned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-8-941x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37583\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can even click on the rotate button to move the text around the circle. I recommend moving it a couple of degrees to the left or right. You don&#8217;t want the text directly above or below your headshot, it looks a little unnatural if you ask me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-9-946x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37584\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Add a little color to make things pop!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bamf.lovelacecreative.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/how-to-create-a-LinkedIn-photo-frame-on-canva-10-1024x941.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-37585\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Upload a photo onto the &#8220;Uploads&#8221; area of Canva and drag that photo towards the circular frame.
