What’s the next step to building rapport?

Getting an appointment set up of course!

Similar to a CTA, a closing spiel is a critical part of the beginning of your sales process.

Once your prospect shows some intent and you’ve established some rapport, it’s critical to channel that consideration into evaluation, and one way to do that is to set up a call.

The thing is, closing a conversation to push for an appointment is an artform in itself.

You need to be able to drive a CTA without sounding too pushy.

And figuring that process can be a little challenging.

In today’s guide, we take a look at generating hyper-converting closing spiels using ChatGPT to take ending your conversations to the next level and get yourself more call bookings.

The prompt that we built out is meant to work with or without a sales script.

This way you can easily add it to any existing sales script or material that may already be existing, or even use it in conversations that are already taking place.

We made it versatile enough so that no matter if you use it on your own or integrate as an enhancement to what you have, it can still pack a punch and do its duty of allowing you to convert.

The Prompt for Closing Spiels Using ChatGPT

Our prompt for closing spiels using ChatGPT is rather long, but it needs to have a lot of context in order for the tool to be a little more conversational.

However, we also built it so that it will be easily deployable by modifying only a couple of placeholders.

Here it is in its full glory.

As a *what do you do for a living* with a network mainly consisting of *who is your network or prospect* on LinkedIn, my goal is to *what do you aim to do with the spiel*.

I’m looking for an engaging and surefire way to conclude my outreach messages, encouraging prospects to not only consider my offer but also take action by booking a call with me.

This should take into account that I could be in the middle of building rapport with them or ending an email. I’m looking for *number of* closing spiels that I can seamlessly integrate into my current conversational spiel.

Each closing spiel should be personalized with placeholders for the prospect’s name, a brief mention of the value I can offer in terms of *your USP and industry*, and a clear and compelling call-to-action (CTA) inviting them to schedule a call with me.

These closing spiels should be designed to capture the prospect’s attention, convey the benefits of my services, and ultimately motivate them to take the next step in our professional relationship.

Before each spiel, please give me a one-liner explaining the gist and style of the message.

We start of with three main pieces of information, who you are, who your audience is and what your goals are with the closing spiel. This provides ChatGPT with the main context and the overall instruction, and it also serves as the main guide for the prompt.

The next part of the prompt breaks down the instructions even further, giving the tool more exact instructions – to book a call with you.

We then added some leeway for you to use the prompt whether you are in the middle of a conversation or if you’re ending email, this adds the versatility to the prompt. You can also modify the number of spiels that you want it to generate here. We usually put in anywhere from 10 to 15 so you have a few to choose from.

Right after, we move to the content of the spiel itself, and we cover adding placeholders such as the name of the prospect, reiteration for the benefits of your USP or specialization and instructions to add a CTA.

Before we close, we add a smaller instructions in relation to the mood and the aim of the script.

We then end with descriptions for each spiel.

Why?

It makes easier to chose from 10-15 spiels if we know what we’re looking for.

The Output

We found the output to be pretty robust after testing it with some of our standard placeholder text. It was able to execute the production of spiels perfectly.

There were a couple of corny scripts – which is unavoidable – but there were also a lot of good ones you could use in any form of communication.

Here’s what we used.

As a digital marketer with a network mainly consisting of entrepreneurs and startup founders on LinkedIn, my goal is to promote my lead generation services effectively.

I’m looking for an engaging and surefire way to conclude my outreach messages, encouraging prospects to not only consider my offer but also take action by booking a call with me.

Overall, we liked these spiels and with a little customization and personalization, there’s no doubt that you can use them with anything that you have going on.

Make Sure You Personalize

Once you’ve picked the speils that you’re interested in, it’s time for you to personalize them.

And we advise that you do so.

Persoanlization, allows you to add your own touch to the spiels, avoid “cheesiness”, and own them as your very own.

We also encourage you to modify the prompt if you feel like there’s more you can add to it to make it sound like it’s your own.

Takeaways

You might spend days building rapport with your prospect, but you would still need to get them to the table to present your offer.

And that’s why we built this prompt for closing spiels using ChatGPT to help get them to that point.

So whether you’re in the middle of an email, conversation or even phone call and need a way to close things well.

They’re guaranteed not to let you down!
